Start Hangouts video calls in Chrome without a plugin
Google will be rolling out an update to its browser that will enable Google+ hangouts users the ability to make video calls without the need of a plugin. Before the update, when users wants to make a video chats on hangouts, they needed to install a plugin unto the Chrome browser in order start video chats. The update will give more convenience to Hangouts users using Google’s own Chrome browsers.
According to Victoria Kirst – a software engineer at Google who brought out the new updates said in a Google+ post that they are currently rolling out the updates to all Chrome Devs and Canary users. All other users will have to wait for a few weeks or so to be notified to the availability of the update. So.. Hangouts users playing on the safe side needs to wait for a little while.
