Spotify to feature Karaoke experience soon

Spotify was spotted testing real-time lyrics on songs being played. The new features came about after Apple released a similar feature together with iOS 13.
The feature though is not yet available to everyone, Spotify is currently testing this feature in selected countries (I guess, where Karaoke is popular) as spotted by one user from outside of the US.

The feature shows the lyrics of the song in-sync with the music being played. The feature is powered by MusixMatch and is located under playback controls. There’s also an option to show the lyrics in full screen where users can enjoy singing along with the song they’re playing.
The said feature has been one of the most requested feature on Spotify mobile app and seeing it being test sounds like a dream come true for users.
There’s no word as to when the feature is rolling out to everyone but expect them to come soon enough as the competition between Spotify and Apple Music which are two most popular music streaming service right now is intensely high.
