Sony lists which of their devices to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update

Promptly after Google pushed Android 7.0 Nougat release, Sony pickup the phase and announced the list of devices that will support Google’s latest operating system. Sony’s commitment to provide the latest software update to a select of devices has been a privilege for Sony smartphone owners. Though there are already a number of OEM’s that announced Android 7.0 adoption, Sony’s the third and hopefully be as quick whenrolling out the latest OS upgrade as it made theannouncement.


These are the devices that Sony plans to upgrade their operating system soon:

  • Sony Xperia Z3+
  • Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet
  • Sony Xperia Z5,Sony Xperia Z5 Compact,Sony Xperia Z5 Premium
  • Sony Xperia X, Sony Xperia XA,Sony Xperia XA,Sony Xperia XA Ultra andSony Xperia X Performance

So far, these are currently the only devices that Sony plans to upgrade but there might also be a possibility that other Xperia series would also get their upgrades available but that’ll be on another time we believed.
