Samsung to bring the Galaxy Fold in the Philippines

Samsung already have the new Galaxy Fold available in other countries but great news for Filipino Samsung fans as the next generation smartphone device will eventually be coming to the Philippines.

According to our source, Samsung Mobile Philippines will be launching the new Galaxy Fold pretty soon but we do not know when or how it could cost. In the US, the handset is priced at around $1,980 and that’s more than a hundred thousand pesos when directly converted in Philippine currency.

The Galaxy Fold was suppose to launched in the middle of the year until reviewers and the press reported a major problem with the handsets foldable display. Samsung was quick to respond to the problem and swiftly recalled every existing Galaxy Fold handset in the wild and after months of refinement and improving the design of the handset, Samsung finally released the handset to customers.

The Galaxy Fold comes with a smaller 4.6-inch AMOLED display on the outside but when unfolded, the inside has a 7.3-inch Infinity Fold display with a notch that holds a dual front-facing camera.

By the way, the handset comes with a triple-camera setup on the back and also there’s a single 10 Megapixel camera front-facing camera right about the small display. With that said, the Galaxy Fold holds a total of 6 cameras with each module ready for different situation.

The handset comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage with no storage expansion option. It’s got a dual battery system with a total of 4,135mAh for its 5G variant and 4,275mAh for the LTE version.
