We have reports that Samsung is prepping a number of new tablets for 2015 as the company recently trademarked the names Galaxy Tab A, Galaxy Tab E and the Galaxy Tab J in their homeland. Without much to report for these new additions to its tablet family until recently when some information about the Galaxy Tab A surfaced on the internet.

Our sources suggests that Samsung is readying its force to unveil the Galaxy Tab A series of devices which will debut with two variants: the Galaxy Tab A and the Galaxy Tab A Plus. The Galaxy Tab A will feature two display variants with one an 8-inch display and a larger 9.7-inch display with both having a 4:3 aspect ratio on a 1024 x 768 resolutions. They also sport a LTE and Wi-Fi only variants with the Tab A Plus to feature an  S-Pen support making it as the first non-Note series of devices to support the stylus.

In addition to the features listed above, both Galaxy Tab A variants will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 5-Megapixel main camera with 2-Megapixel camera on the front, 16 GB of internal storage and in 7.4 mm thick package. There’s 1.5 GB of RAM for the Galaxy Tab A while the Galaxy Tab A Plus will do with 2 GB RAM. The 8-inch model of series will feature a 4000 mAh battery while the 9.7-inch model will have a larger 6000 mAh battery.
