The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge a variant of the new Galaxy Note 4 which has a display that curves on its side is finally here in our local shores. Samsung Mobile Philippines recently held a small event that launched the 2014 highly innovative handset in the country which made the handset’s availability official.
First launched last November 2014 in some selected markets, the Philippines which is known is south-east Asia as one of the potential market for different mobile phone brands has been waiting for 3 months before the highly anticipated handset became available. Previously, users and potential buyers had to rely on the grey market which are now undeniably becoming more common for users who wants to take the first bite on new gadgets before anyone does which are usually not officially available in the country. Thankfully for Samsung, the company noticed the demand for such device here in the Philippines as they have selected the Philippines as one of the official market for the Galaxy Note Edge handset.
Despite the official launch, Samsung Mobile Philippines pointed out that the new handset will only be available in a limited-time only and also probably in limited stocks similar to other regions, so they have advised users who would want to grab one of the units to pre-order them. For a limited-time offer, the handset can be had at 43,990.00 Pesos which is a little less than that from grey markets, of course that would be the case as the handset is just recently launch in the country.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge brings a radical design in the smartphone market with its functional curve display that extends the handsets display unto its right hand side for additional functions.
