Samsung launched Education-centric device the “Galaxy Tab 4 Education”
Samsung has announced a new tablet designed for educational institutions. The Galaxy Tab 4 Education is a 10.1-inch variant of a regular Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 encased in a durable hard shell with apps and features specifically designed for students that works seamlessly with Google Play for Education.
Galaxy Tab 4 Education is currently being released in the US. Samsung delivers the equipment for modern and connected schools by living up with the promise of providing Classroom-ready tablets that should work with students.
Spec-wise, the Galaxy Tab 4 Education comes with 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, a 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on-board storage. equipped with microSD slot that supports up to 64 GB of memory that should handle all the needed learning materials for students. Supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless connectivity, NFC and HDMI port. it’s powered by 6800 mAh battery which should last at for 10 hours. It comes with Android 4.4 (KitKat) that should ensures the latest updates on the new Operating System topped with Samsung’s own customization’s on its user interface and overall experience.
The price is not quite as high as the regular Galaxy Tab 4 101, Keep in mind that With Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 Education, most specs are not in par with today’s standards, Given that the new tablet offers minimal hardware requirements, Samsung’s goal for the new tablet is to deliver a rugged device and a price that something from partner learning institutions could actually afford.
