The new Galaxy Note7 from Samsung isn’t widely available in the market yet, in fact only T-Mobile Canada is the first one to released the handset to its customers while the rest of us should have the units ready by tomorrow. But if you’re one of the many who pre-ordered the device, your new Galaxy Note7 will treat you with a new update after booting up.

The Korean tech giant out its first software update for the handset and it comes at 96MB in size, though there wasn’t any change log available, the update is said to include minor bug fixes and security patches. The said update though is destined for devices with device numbers that ends with APH1.

Just as you want to get the latest updates, once you have your handset on the Galaxy Note7 but still finds it not looking for updates they you could always head to Settings >About device > Download updates. While this update will serve only those devices released in Canada, expect Samsung to release a similar update to your regions when the actual unit becomes available locally.
