Samsung Galaxy Note 5 runs with 4 GB RAM, revealed by new benchmark

The rumored August 13 announcement for the Galaxy Note 5 gets closer and with any typical high-end phone in the market, we are treated with more leaks almost in a day-to-day basis with one that came out recently are live images of the alleged Galaxy Note 5 at boot up. Even more current is that the alleged handset went through benchmark testing at GeekBench.

The benchmark result is promising and seem to confirm most of early leaked information regarding the upcoming flagship. One that really caught our attention with the device having model number SM-N920V which is believed to be the alleged Galaxy Note 5 comes with 4 GB of system RAM contrary to a recent leaked information that says otherwise. But who knows, there exist the probability of more than one variant of the Galaxy Note 5, what’s likely is that at least there’s the existence of the Galaxy Note 5 with 4GB of RAM.

However, the handset being tested here is a variant heading for Verizon. Some believes that their might be variants for specific carrier with different RAM’s and that might include international variants as well.

The benchmark result also revealed some of the stuff that we’re already familiar with the Galaxy Note 5 specs and it’s more than a confirmation with regards to earlier reports. The Motherboard is worth noting as well as it sport the same 7420 Motherboard from the Galaxy S6 Dou, this might fall into the same space since we’re told earlier that the Galaxy Note 5 might use a slightly updated Exynos 7422 that is said to be as close as the current Exynos 7420 but with its modem built into the chip.

Here we can also see that the Galaxy Note 5 runs on Android 5.1.1 and like any upcoming flagship handset from Samsung, the handset always runs on the latest version of Android which are also carried over to the final production model of the handset.
