Samsung Galaxy J2(2016) launched with the new Smart Glow Notification feature

The entry-level segment is one of the biggest profitable part of the mobile market and it’s also a good place to experiment features that’s we’ll proved beneficial to users. Samsung introduced the new Galaxy J2 (2016) and it comes with a new gimmick that will surely catch the attention of consumers. One thing that separates the new Galaxy J2 from all the rest is the notification ring that surrounds the camera module at the back which as it’s called a Smart Glow feature that provides a number of notifications through different colors hues depending on which notification the device has for its owner. It closely works similar to the LED notification typically found on the front of the device but the one’s at the back provides a better way and more explicitly for users.
Like its other siblings, the Galaxy J2 is mainly made out of polycarbonate but it comes with a surprisingly large 5.0-inch display and having a 720p HD resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM and a modest 8GB storage space but users don’t need to worry as it supports memory expansion option of up to 128GB microSD cards.
For users who loves to take pictures using their devices, the new Galaxy J2(2016) should come in handy whenever at any scene with its 8 Megapixel main camera coupled with LED flash. The front sport a 5 Megapixel shooter which should be more than enough for high-resolution video calls and perfect Selfies.

Smart Glow

Standing out from the rest and be getting notified first is what the new Galaxy J2 (2016) is all about. Its new Smart Glow feature should keep users notified with a customizable notification LED ring at the back. Each color can be assigned with specific set of alerts that users and define personally.

With the new handsets, Samsung added features that makes their devices more productive and smart and the Galaxy J2(2016) is lucky to be one of them. The new handset features Turbo Speed Technology (TST) – a feature that enables the system to use the least possible resources to complete a task in the shortest possible time. Samsung claims that devices with TST feature like the Galaxy J2(2016) loads apps up to 40% faster than with those units with the feature. Aside from this, the handset also features S Bike mode and Utra Data Saving Mode which will be provided by its built-in Opera browser.

The new Samsung Galaxy J2(2016) is currently launched in India and is expected to cost around INR 9,750 and will be available in India’s local store starting this week. The handset will be available in Black, Silver and Gold color options. Though it wasn’t announced as of yet, Samsung is expected to make the new handset available in other regions as well, perhaps in the next few weeks maybe.
