Samsung announces the Android 7.0 Galaxy Beta Program for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users in the US and UK

Samsung is expected to bring the latest Android 7.0 soon to users and what could be the most surprising teaser to an eminent release than a Galaxy Beta Program announcement tied to the new Android 7.0 Nougat version designed for the Galaxy series devices. The following program is designed to have a preview on what’s coming with Android 7.0 for Samsung devices through none other that the company’s flagship the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge.
The Beta program has already kick off in South Korea but the new announcement also opens its door to Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users in the US and the UK as well. There will also be an opening for the same program to users in China in the next few week, so it’s also something to watch out for to those who wants to participate.
As there are millions of Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users, Samsung will setting a limited slots for the Beta program and they will be accepting applicants in first come first served basis. Within the program, participants expects more updates from Samsung for developing the Nougat variant of Samsung’s UX and users are expected to bring feedback to Samsung about their experience on the new OS and it’s accompanying and updated user interface, performance, reliability and overall usability.
While it’s exciting to know that real world users can participate with the program, Samsung clarifies that only unlocked devices are eligible to participate with the program, so that leaves devices that are tied to carriers to wait for their official updates to roll out sometime the first quarter of 2017 at best. Also worth noting is that the Olympic version of the Galaxy S7 edge and the Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition will not be included in the beta program.
