Samsung announced the new Galaxy Note 10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Lite

Samsung gradually teased us of their upcoming devices and these two that we are about to show you was teased all-over towards the last quarter of 2019. Despite the upcoming Galaxy S11/S20, Samsung just unveiled the two new additions to its current flagship devices and these are the new Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite.

As you know, both of these devices are from Samsung’s two different flagship lineups but as we enter the beginning of the year, Samsung outed this two to bring it much closer to more customers with flagship-grade specs in a mid-range price tag.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite

First up is the new Galaxy Note 10 Lite, It comes with everything that we loved on the Galaxy Note. It has a fairly large display at 6.7-inch and it’s AMOLED with a full-HD+ resolution. It has a little punch-hole at the top center of the display just like it did with the regular Galaxy Note 10 that also houses a 32 Megapixel Selfie sensor.

On the back, there’s a trio of image sensors housed in a rectangular iPhone-esque camera module design. It is primarily equipped with a 12 Megapixel main camera with f/1.7 Aperture lens and has OIS. then there’s a 12 Megapixel camera with a f/2.2 Aperture UltraWide-angle lens and a 12 Megapixel f/2.4 Telephoto camera.

It runs on an undisclosed chipset but Samsung confirmed that it comes with an 8-core processor with four of which are running at 2.7GHz and another four at 1.7GHz. It includes either 6GB or 8GB of system RAM and the storage is at 128GB. It also supports microSD card expansion if one needs more that it can offer.

Like every Galaxy Note device, the Lite version also comes with an S-Pen and that’s complete with Air Command support. And unlike its older brothers, the Lite variant comes with a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack, just in case someone needs it.

The Galaxy S10 Lite

While it doesn’t make much sense for Samsung flagship aficionados to ever open their pockets for the Galaxy S10 Lite knowing that the Galaxy S20 is on its way, mid-range users are actually the target market segment on this one and how cool it is to see flagship devices dipped into the another user-market with almost the same flagship experience in a fairly lower price tag.

Unlike its one year old brothers, the Galaxy S10 Lite is much like the Galaxy Note 10 Lite but instead of the S Pen, the Galaxy S10 Lite prefers to improve on what’s best at, the cameras.

So to start, the Galaxy S10 Lite is also equipped with 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display and comes with a punch-hole camera at the upper center of the display as well that houses its own 32 Megapixel Selfie sensor.

The camera module on the back is shown similarly as the Galaxy Note 10 Lite but the sensors are arranged in differently. It bests with its primary Wide-angle 48 Megapixel shooter on a f/2.0 Aperture lens that support Samsung’s first Super Steady OIS AutoFocus feature. there’s a 12 Megapixel with f/2.2 UltraWide angle lens and a Macro snapper in 5 Megapixel.

Samsung powers the Galaxy S10 Lite with an undisclosed 8-cores chipset clustered at 2.8GHz, 2.4GHz and 1.7GHz. The handset will come with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and has a expandable storage at 128GB and can be expandable through a microSD card.

Both of these devices are equipped with 4,500 mAh embedded battery and support 25W fast-charging. It runs Android 10 with Samsung’s proprietary One UI 2.0 out of the box.

The Galaxy S10 Lite will be available in these color options: Prism White, Prism Black and the Prism Blue color options while the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is available in Aura Glow, Aura Black and Aura Red.

Both the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and the Galaxy S10 Lite will be shown at CES 2020 and will be available in the market by the end of the first quarter of this year. The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is priced at 599.00 Euros while the Galaxy S10 Lite is at 649.00 Euros.
