Rumored Motorola Shamu aka “Nexus 6” specs leaked: features Android L, QHD display and Snapdragon 805
Google Nexus – One of the anticipated device every year which showcases the Progress of Google’s Android mobile Operating System in bare bone features. Optimized for pure Android experience, the Nexus line is always embedded with Highly spec’d hardware configuration designed to run at underlying Operating System at its full potential. Though some has speculated that the Nexus line won’t be making a comeback after Google announced its Android Silver project, which turns out to be another set of featured different OEM hardware running the same stock OS as Google’s own, specifically configured Nexus devices. Knowing that, has sparked the continued anticipation for the next Google Nexus device.
Earlier benchmark tests results however has pointed out a device that could be the next Nexus handset, though not officially claimed as Nexus 6 as of yet, the Motorola (once part of Google and now by Lenovo) has tested the new Motorola Shamu which is said to be the next Nexus 6 despite rumors which suggested that the next Nexus device may be coming from either ASUS, LG or even HTC. But if that’s not the case then the Motorola Shamu could be one of the most powerful Flagship device from the company today when released. Not only that it has surpassed benchmarks score from existing known devices but also the hardware that the device maybe coming in with.
From the benchmark test results, we found out that the Motorola Shamu will have a 5.2-inch QHD (2392 x 1440 resolutions) display with a Quad-core 2.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, it runs on a Qualcomm Adreno 420 graphics processor with 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB of internal storage. It also comes with a 12 Megapixel main camera on the back that’s capable of taking UHD (4K) videos and a 2 Megapixel on the front capable of Full-HD video recordings. Of course as part of the new Hardware, Motorola is driven by none other than Google’s latest operating system Android L.
We’d hope that the Motorola Shamu will become the new Nexus 6 as the hardware is at the moment a perfect fit to run the latest operating system from Google itself. Until then, we wait until further development emerges and until Google will officially announced the new Nexus 6 around this coming September.
