How would you like you next tablet to be as powerful as your full-blown PC? It would be great isn’t it? then everything should be running fast as they should. That’s what the latest leak regarding the rumored HTC “Volantis” is trying to imply. The rumored HTC “Volantis” has been making news lately and as rumors build up, more information has been revealed and as time goes by, the more it is to get excited for HTC’s grand announcement.

Famous leaker @evleaks, recently posted not just a purported image of the alleged HTC “Volantis” but also a plausible system specifications of the said upcoming tablet. According to the recent leak, the upcoming “Volantis” is said to feature a 64bit Tegra K1 SoC with a whooping 5 GB of RAM, a choice of 16, 32 or probably 64 GB of internal storage will be on of the available storage options for the new tablet. It comes with 8.9-inch WQXGA display with 2560 x 1600 resolutions. It may also pack either 5 or 8 Megapixel main camera and will feature HTC’s signature dual front speaker design with Boomsound.

Though the 5 GB RAM may change when the actual unit is released in to the market, we understand that the alleged hardware must be a prototype unit and may be totally different from the one that HTC is planning to come out with.

HTC “Volantis” tablet is housed in a silver aluminum unibody shell which presumably light and thin along with HTC’s unique designs, it will surely make a “wow moment” in the tablet market and may set a new benchmark on how manufacturers should consider when releasing a new tablet device.

As earlier leaks have suggested, the HTC “Volantis” may be launch sometime in the 4th quarter of this year but still all information must not be taken wholeheartedly at this point as HTC have not given any statement regarding the rumors that have circulated.
