Realme has level-up their game and it’s not just the smartphone themselves that they are making now but on accessories as well, at an event in India, the Oppo subbrand introduced their first True Wireless headset with the new Realme Buds Air.

Realme already had the Realme buds in the market and the addition of its TWS accessory would strengthen its presence in the market.
The Realme Buds Air is somewhat similar to an Apple AirPods in design but unlike the latter, the Realme Buds Air comes in three color options: Black, White and Yellow.

Each Earphone comes with two microphones with one for calls and the other one for noise cancellation. It features a 12mm bass booster for clearer audio. It houses an R1 chip that supports low-latency on Bluetooth 5.0 with Gaming Mode On that lowers the sound lag to 120ms.
Feature-wise, each bud has an optical sensor that pauses any music being played as soon as you take them off your ear. It also includes touch gestures for Play/Pause, Receive calls, activate voice assistant.

The Realme Buds Air comes with a plastic case and it’s rechargeable. The buds itself could last for about three hours on a single charge and a total of 17hours of audio listening together with the case and it supports Google Fast Pair protocol so it pairs instantly with your paired device as soon as you pop the lid up.

In India where the biggest market for Realme is, the Realme Buds Air is now available for order on its website and on FlipKart but for the on the shelves availability, that’s on December 23.
The price for the Realme Buds Air is set at INR3,999 or just US$59.00. There’s also a wireless Qi charging pad that’s compatible for the new Buds Air but Realme is yet to disclose its price and availability.
