Realme announces the new X50 Pro Player Edition, boosting gaming features

Realme has updated its flagship device with the newly announced Realme X50 Pro Player Edition, a new smartphone that takes the advantages of the the X50 Pro with a better and more dominant hardware-boosting features.

The Realme X50 Pro Player Edition comes with the same features from the X50 Pro including a 6.44-inch AMOLED Display with 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 storage and of course 5G connectivity.

It also comes with a 4200mAh embedded battery that supports 65W fast charging capability which enables the device to charge from flat to full battery in just 35 minutes. It also boosts a new cooling technology where graphite sheets are slipped in-between the battery and the back panel to help dissipate the heat for optimal gaming.

the X50 Pro Player Edition also ships with HyperBoost 3.0, a gaming-centric feature that allocates resources such as memory, processor, RAM and battery power to games for an improved and better gaming performance.

With the HyperBoost 3.0 enabled, It should switch between WiFi and 5G connections with virtually no lag and will have most unnecessary notifications turned off, no background apps running and even location services will be turned off for uninterrupted gameplay.

Unlike the X50 Pro though, the X50 Pro Player Edition will have to downgrade on the camera department to compensate costs and replaces the 64 Megapixel with a 48 Megapixel main camera and the Telephoto is gone and instead settles for a 2 Megapixel macro Shooter. On the front, the Selfie shooter still comes with two sensor but with a 16 Megapixel main camera and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor.

The new Realme X50 Pro Player Edition will be available in these color variants: Light Speed Silver and Phantom Black. The new device will be launching in China by June 1st but pre-orders are up today in the following prices and variants:
