It was rumored earlier this week that Qualcomm can once again supply products to Huawei, while it was then unclear if the rumors are true, Qualcomm has officially confirmed the authenticity of the news.
To back it up, Qualcomm announced that it recently got a license to supply some products including 4G products to Huawei.
It’s still unclear when Qualcomm could supply 5G products to Huawei and this isn’t too surprising at the moment given Huawei’s situation in the US. Qualcomm already stated that the company has already applied for a license to the US government to do business with Huawei, but haven’t received any response as of yet.
It looks like everything will turn back right in favor of Huawei but for now, small steps is all there is to get back what it deserves.
