Galaxy Z Fold2 5G

With Samsung, mobile devices continue to innovate and evolved with new technologies and applications. Samsung is one of the pioneers of foldable displays and they proved that it’s possible for a foldable device to exist when they launched the Galaxy Fold last year.

The new Galaxy Z Fold2 is a direct successor of the Galaxy Fold in 2019 despite the naming convention.

The unit comes with a primary display on the outside which by the way is no longer awkwardly small as it now features an all-round display on the front and it measures 6.2-inch. Upon opening the handset you’ll be greeted by a large 7.6-inch tablet-like display, the notch is no longer there as Samsung opted for a Infinity-O display for the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G.

One of the complexities of a foldable device is its hinge and the Galaxy Z Fold2 takes its experience from its predecessors and improved on that. The mechanism is even more refined as ever with smoother opening and closing with better durability (we hope).

Imaging for the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G is not even compromised despite its form-factor. Samsung make sure that everything is premium on the new Galaxy Z Fold2 that it includes a trio of tried and tested 12 Megapixel imaging sensors housed in a primary imaging module on the back. There’s also a 10 Megapixel Selfie shooter on the front when closed and the punch hole on the display when unfolded housed another 10 Megapixel camera.

Overall the new Galaxy Z Fold2 5G shows that even concept-grade devices can be a daily driver for many and this form-factor could just be the next big thing in mobile devices.
