We are just 3 months since 2021 started and we are already overwhelmed with new devices and gadgets to move forward. Poco is also set to make the year even more exciting as it introduces two new devices for this year’s lineup and that is the new Poco X3 Pro and the company’s new flagship the Poco F3.

Poco F3

The new F3 continues to leverage Poco fans with a flagship device worthy of its name and it indeed actually serves it right as it could once again be a successor to the original flagship-killer the F1. However, the new Poco F3 isn’t entirely a new device but instead it’s a a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 which also is the current flagship from the Redmi series.

The Poco F3 primarily focuses on performance and imaging and to make all that possible is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. The chipset is a tweaked version of SD 865+ for a little performance gain. There’s also a 4520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In a way, you’d expect better performance with the new chipset that is comparable with all other flagship devices in the market.

The new handset also comes with an LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage which are available in 6GB/128GB or 8GB/256GB configurations. However, like every new flagship device in the market, the Poco F3 also got no microSD card slot, meaning, but it should be able to accept OTG drives though.

As one of the focus for the F3, it does have some interesting camera setup with a stylistic camera module on the back with a 48 Megapixel main sensor and an 8 Megapixel Ultra Wide, It also comes with a 5 Megapixel sensor that functions as a Telephoto and macro camera in one. As for the front, the handset gets a camera punch hole on the display with a 20 Megapixel Selfie sensor.

The display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080p+ resolutions and 120Hz refresh rate together with 360Hz touch sampling rate. It features HDR10+ and comes with 900nits of brightness and peaks at 1300nits.

Available in Arctic White, Night Black, and a special Deep Ocean Blue color with Poco logo on the back. Prices are at 349 Euros and 399 Euros for the two configurations.

Poco X3 Pro

The new Pro variant of the Poco X3 comes with the same design and almost the same features as the regular Poco X3. However their differences lies on their chipsets as the Pro version uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor which basically a SD865 with a new name. It performs pretty well for a 2021 device but misses out 5G.

The new device is built around a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 1080p+ resolutions and supports 120Hz refresh rate together with 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Similar with the F3, the new Poco X3 Pro is also coming in two configurations at 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB of RAM and storage.

For imaging, Poco equipped the X3 Pro with a Quad-sensor on the back with a 48 Megapixel primary camera, an 8 Megapixel Ultra Wide and two 2 Megapixel sensor for macro and depth sensing for each. Upfront is a 20 Megapixel camera that sits inside a punch hole on the display.

It also comes with NFC, a feature that’s worth mentioning at least for the series. Like we’ve said earlier, it doesn’t come with 5G connectivity but LTE should make up for it and also it comes with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0, Stereo speakers and a 3.5mm Audio jack.

The new Poco X3 Pro ships with a 5,160mAh battery and also supports 33W fast charging plus a dedicated cooling pipe and multi-layer of graphite on the back to keep it cool.

The device will be available in Phantom Black, Frost Blue, and Metal Bronze color options with price for the 6GB RAM variant at 249 Euros while the 8GB version can be pick for 299 Euros.
