Oppo’s new ColorOS 7 brings an overhaul UI, better Camera app and improved system performance

One of Oppo’s differentiating factor is its user experience and now with Android 10, Oppo launches the new ColorOS 7 UI based on Android 10 with an all-new user interface elements, system optimizations, a further enhanced Breeno Assistant and new and improved Camera features.

With Android 10 under the hood, the new ColorOS 7 brings new features to users that’s native to the underlying OS and that for one includes the system-wide Dark Mode, Enhanced system security and better apps optimizations.

With Oppo’s own customizations, the Chinese tech firm’s proprietary UI brings a whole new rounded icon designs, new wallpapers, new system sounds and animations. In addition to what Android 10 offers, Oppo also gives the ColorOS 7 its own memory optimization that is said to make the UI even mo responsive and smooth.

One of the most enhanced part of ColorOS 7 is the improved camera app which adds a new extreme night-mode, a better Portrait mode and an anti-shake video profile. And then there’s a new Soloop media editor that allows users to edit both images and videos.

Oppo’s Game Space also received the needed improvements that besides all the game specific tweaks, it also added a new Focus mode which help users from being with their phone less often with. The feature functions similar to Google’s Digital Wellbeing app.

The Beeno Voice Assistant from Oppo now features hands-free and driving mood which helps drivers to interact with their phone even when behind the wheels. It also comes with automatic actions which allow commands to be carried out based on time and location.
