Oppo was supposed to shelve the F series in favor of its new Reno series of devices. But to everybody’s surprise, Oppo made the F15 official. One could see a familiar look to it as the new F15 device is the same A91 device that was launched in China last month.

The new Oppo F15 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution screen in 20:9 aspect ratio. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch that houses the 16 Megapixel Selfie camera. The front is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection against scratches and dust.

Flipping the smartphone over, we have a 4-camera array with a 48 Megapixel main sensor and an 8 Megapixel with an UltraWide angle lens that doubles as a macro shooter that can takes images from 3 to 8mm away from the subject. Finally, there’s two 2 Megapixel cameras with one being a Monochrome sensor and the other is a depth sensor.

The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset and is packed with 8GB of system RAM together with an expandable 128GB of storage.

It comes with 4000mAh embedded battery and supports Oppo’s 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Out of the box, the Oppo F15 will boot Color OS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie. The latter seems a bit odd knowing that the company already rolled out Color OS 7.0 on their existing devices.

Available in Unicorn White and Lightning Black colors, the Oppo F15 will retail at INR 19,990 in India. Amazon India and Flipkart are now accepting pre-order for the device.
