Oppo announced the new A9
6.53-inch display, dual back cameras and a large 4020 mAh battery
Sometimes, watered-down version of what already seemed a good gadget is pointless but that cannot be said true to the new Oppo A9. It features almost everything what the F11 Pro does with a few stops along the way but still perfectly fits the norms.
It comes with the same dimensions as the F11 Pro with the same 6.53-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display and a notch on top to house its front-facing camera.
Talking about cameras, the Oppo A9 has a 16 Megapixel Selfie shooter while at the back there’s a dual camera setup with a 16 Megapixel primary sensor coupled to a 5 Megapixel depth sensor.
It is also powered by Helio P70 from MediaTek and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage plus a memory expansion slot that accepts up to 256GB capacity of microSD cards.
The handset is embedded with 4,020 mAh battery and runs Color OS 6 with Game Boost 2.0 out of the box. It comes with 3D gradient design back in three color options: Mica Green, Ice Jade White, and Fluorite Purple.
The new Oppo A9 will be sold in China starting this April 30 for CNY1,799 ($267). Local availability is not yet know though.
