OnePlus rolls out Android 9.0 Pie to the OnePlus 6

After Google and Essential, the third hardware manufacturer to put Android 9.0 Pie in stable condition to their devices is OnePlus for its current generation handset the OnePlus 6. The company just had concluded its Android 9.0 Pie beta program and now, every user of the said handset will receive the new update in the form of OxygenOS 9.0.

The update weighs around 1.5GB and brought along with it the new features that Android Pie has including the new gesture navigation, new Android 9.0 Pie UI, Adaptive Battery, a new Do not disturb mode with adjustable options, adaptive theme with accent colors customization and other system improvements and other new features.

In addition to these new features, OnePlus also adds Gaming Mode 3.0 feature which also users to view notifications from messages and receive third-party calls. Then it carries the latest Android security patch which dates September 2018.

The new update is now rolling out to users and are dispatched in batches, if all works as normal, in a few days or so, more users will be notified about the update.
