OnePlus introduces its first wireless earbuds: OnePlus Buds

Leaks are over as OnePlus finally made the new OnePlus Buds official. The new earbuds is OnePlus first true wireless stereo earbuds and features Noise-reduction through a triple microphone setup to reduce ambient noise during calls.

The official announcement also confirmed our early knowledge about the earbuds, its form and features. It comes with a half in-ear design somewhat reminiscent to the Apple Airpods but with a tweaked design. It features an IPX4 water resistance, meaning, this is sweat and splash resistant, so it can live up with outdoor activities and such except swimming.

The new OnePlus Buds is equipped with a 3.4mm dynamic driver and experience 3D sound with Dolby Atmos with Dirac Audio Tuner support. There’s also Fnatic Mode support which OnePlus claiming the audio latency down to 103ms.

Users, operates the new Buds with a touch panel and supports gesture controls such as long-presses and double taps to work around with your music and audio functions on the buds. Charging the case is handled by USB-C and connectivity through Bluetooth 5.1 interface with Fastpair that seamlessly connects the buds to your smartphone conveniently.

The earbuds itself has a playback time of up to 7 hours and together with the case, promises up to 30 hours of music playback in a full single charge. A 10 minute charge on the charging case would give up to 10 hours of music listening, that’s fantastic.

The new OnePlus Buds is currently available in Black and Gray with a matching color to the case. As for the price, OnePlus makes their first TWS earbuds highly affordable to users with a $79 price tag.
