OnePlus 3 spotted on AnTuTu with Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM and 16 Megapixel camera, Expected on April 7

OnePlus launched the latest OnePlus 2 handset in a limited and mostly by invitation only where only a few number of customers have the privilege to own the device until recently when the OnePlus 2 finally became available for purchase without any invitation required yet still in limited quantities. Despite the limited stock released, the OnePlus 2 became one of the hottest devices available in the market even today.

Moving on, a few months after the launch of the OnePlus 2, the China-based company is now preparing its successor.Since the OnePlus 2 omitted NFC wireless technology just because the manufacturer felt users aren’t sufficiently used the technology other than transfer multimedia contents back then. Today NFC is one of the most important wireless technology being utilized for wireless payments and with the next flagship to come out, users hope to see these missed out feature to become part of the device.

Just as we’re scouring out new information for forthcoming handsets, we came across of what could be the new OnePlus 3 from benchmarking site AnTuTu. Together with the new handset pop-out from the list, the post also revealed some of its important spec’s.


The unannounced handset labelled as OnePlus A3000 or so we assumed the OnePlus 3 comes with a 1920 x 1080 resolutions on a assuming 5.5-inch display. The handset will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with Adreno 530 graphics chip. To fulfill everyone’s yearnings, the OnePlus 3 is equipped with 4 GB of RAM along a 32 GB internal storage. In terms of cameras, the handset includes a 16 Megapixel main camera at the back while the front is supported by an 8 Megapixel shooter. And finally, the handset runs Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system. Though, the information we have currently didn’t say much about the handset except the important ones, we hope that this time, it’ll include other features common to flagship devices today.

The new benchmark result from AnTuTu isn’t by accident as it was rumored recently that OnePlus will be holding an event on April 7 in Beijing China and speculations were up that it’s the OnePlus 3 that’s going to fill the stage.
