Oil Prices Expected to Rise This Tuesday as Global Market Sentiment Shifts
The oil market started on a positive note at the beginning of the week, but as trading progressed toward the end, market sentiment shifted. Instead of a possible rollback, a price hike is now expected on Tuesday.
According to industry experts, oil products may see price increases of up to 50 centavos per liter. Diesel prices could go up by around 20 centavos, while gasoline and kerosene may increase by approximately 10 to 30 centavos per liter.
The reasons remain largely the same, mainly driven by ongoing geopolitical conflicts between nations and uncertainties surrounding how the United States will handle Venezuelan oil, especially following reports that former President Donald Trump has placed Venezuela’s president in custody.
While these developments do not directly involve us, their impact is felt indirectly through global oil supply and pricing, which ultimately affects local fuel prices.
