Facebook finally launched the most useful mobile app from its arsenal for Windows Phone 8 users. The Messenger app which is designed and deployed by the Facebook dev team themselves and is now available for download from the Windows Phone Store
Facebook Messenger app for Windows Phone 8 delivers the familiar features found on its iOS and Android counterpart. These features includes full Messenger experience with photos, stickers, statuses, recent and current messaging history without opening the Facebook app.
The Messenger also display users who are currently online, users using the Messenger app, user who are logged in online. Users can also set notifications according to their preferences with the ability to save recent conversations for later retrieval on those messages.
The new Messenger app is quite impressive as it is speedy and feature pack which hinted that Facebook finally saw the importance of Windows ecosystem and here is hoping that they would also polish and take the development of the existing Facebook app which is currently developed by Microsoft in order to deliver the same user experience as offered by Facebook app designed solely by Facebook application dev team for other mobile devices.
