O+ confirmed their new octa-core equipped O+ Air, starts at 13,995 Php

After a few teaser here and there, O+ USA finally unveiled the O+ Air smartphone device. It’s the company’s first Octa-Core device and one of the thinnest Octa-Core smartphone released in the country today. At 6.8mm thick, the O+ Air achieved that thickness thanks to its all thin aluminum frame unibody design.
Because of its thin frame construction, the O+ Air is fitted with a rather smaller battery that some may find them not enough to workout through the day. But O+ however managed to put Android KitKat as its primary Operating System for the device out of the box that’s widely known today for its great power management features. With that in mind, despite the small battery at 2000 mAh inside the O+ Air, it would not matter that much.
The O+ Air is a 5-incher with O+ exclusive LUMI display technology running at 720 x 1280 resolutions with 320ppi. It uses the MediaTek MT6592 Octa-Core processor with Mali 450-MP Quad-Core graphics unit, couple that with a gig of RAM and a standard 8 GB of internal storage. It features a microSD slot that supports of up to 32 GB microSD cards. It also comes with 8 GB Sandisk microSD card out of the box.
