Nubia Red Magic 3 goes official with insane specs built for gaming

Gaming devices should be prioritizing gaming at its core and though other manufacturers are trying to build their devices to highlight their gaming capabilities but in most aspect, not have yet to deliver a true and proper hardware designed for gaming until now.

Enter the new Nubia Red Magic 3. It’s got all the hardware for all your gaming needs. One could say it’s a proper representation of what desktop gaming is only it’s on a smartphone form factor.

Nubia built the Red Magic 3 to take all the blows you’d throw at it starting off with the impressive 6.65-inch AMOLED display. It doesn’t have the latest edge-to-edge screen and features a thick top and bottom bezels, they are there for ergonomics though but the best part of it is that it have a 90 Hz refresh rate in it with 240 Hz Touch Refresh Rate for the smoothest and responsive interaction and visual experience possible.

In tuned with better visuals, the handset also has stereo speakers situated on both sides (when in landscape) and it’s another reason why the bezels both on the top and bottom exists. This should give users a better gaming audio experience on mobile without using a headphone. It also sport a 4D customizable vibration for feedback.

For imaging though, Nubia thinks gamers doesn’t need fancy multi-cameras and only includes a single 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor but what’s great about it is that it supports 8K video recording and up to 1920 fps of super slow-mo video capture.

A gaming device should have the high-ends and the Nubia Red Magic 3 doesn’t compromise with its Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC under the shell and has up to 12GB of RAM on board and storage of up to 256GB.

It features a unique cooling system with the new generation ICE liquid cooling technology plus a mini actual fan inside the handset to lower the handset temperature with 16 degrees Celsius. Nubia claims that their cooling solution with provide up to 500% heat distribution and covers 32,000 sq.mm, which should be enough to keep the phone temperature down even when in used non-stop.

What’s great about gaming smartphones is that they come with the extras designed for gamers and with that, the Red Magic 3 has an additional action button on the top right side which can be used as a additional key on gaming. Besides that, the fingerprint scanner on the back can also be mapped to do the same thing for added game interactions.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 comes with a 5000 mAh battery, it’s a huge advantage for mobile gaming enthusiasts for longer play time. It also supports a 27W fast-charging capabilities so you can resume playing in no time in case the handset goes in low battery.
