Nokia is excited to launch the Nokia X successor as it poses a teaser banner on its website, dubbed as the Nokia X2 by netizens, the Nokia X’s successor will be a larger and more capable Android device that set to seriously hit other Android based smartphone manufacturers.

With a tagline “Green is Envy” that syncs with the summer season, the Nokia conversation website hints a forthcoming device that simply brings out its true capabilities. The Nokia X2 launch event is set on June 24.

According to rumors, the upcoming Nokia X2 devices will have and upgraded processor, a 1 GB of RAM which is a major disappointment from the 1st generation Nokia X’s low memory, Bigger display, a speculated better camera and the much-anticipated introduction of a dedicated Home button which have previously caused confusions among users of the current generation Nokia X that only have a back button. The inclusion of the Home button will ultimately address that issue. It will also run a forked version of the latest Android OS.

Everything else will be revealed on June 24 and we hope to see a truly competitive Android device from one of the best cellphone hardware manufacturer to date.
