King’s new “Candy Crush Soda Saga” a sequel to Candy Crush Saga soft-launched on Android

King’s highly successful and addictive game Candy Crush Saga just got a sequel with the new Candy Crush Soda Saga. Following the same roots and principle from its predecessor, Candy Crush Soda Saga features the same candy pairing and crushing throughout each level with a new twist of gameplay. The soda drinks has been added for more challenges that keep fans of the game more busy this time around.

The fizzy drink itself will greatly change the gameplay as the environment is affected by them, unlike the Candy Crush Saga, the candies will float on its place instead of falling off making them more challenging and eventually more addictive.

The sequel is currently launched in Canada, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden. A planned worldwide debut is set on the second half of 2014. According to our sources, the game will then launch on iOS soon after it hits Google Play.
