Fuel prices have been rising for weeks, with no clear end in sight as geopolitical conflicts around the world continue to drive costs higher. However, the market is showing slight changes that could potentially ease the ongoing fuel price crisis.

Based on the recent four-day trading in MOPS, the Philippine oil market may see mixed price movements next week.

Gasoline prices may increase by up to ₱0.20 per liter, while diesel could rise by as much as ₱0.50 per liter. Meanwhile, kerosene is expected to remain unchanged.

Oil companies typically announce their final price adjustments on Monday, with the new rates taking effect the following day.
