Microsoft’s Chromium-based Edge browser is coming, Available by January 15th
Just awhile ago, I’ve posted a preview of the new Microsoft Edge logo. Now the company is set to make the next generation Edge browser official by the first quarter of 2020 or more specifically by the 15th of January.

I have tested the beta software and boy, it’s fast compared to the latest stable consumer version of Microsoft Edge. But mind you, the latest Edge beta version is also stable enough for everyday use and browsing my favorite websites so far is as smooth as browsing in Google Chrome.

Speaking of Chrome, the next version of Microsoft Edge will be based on Chromium engine an open-source software in which Chrome itself was based on.

As a bundled product to Microsoft Windows 10 and forward, with next version of Edge, Microsoft is also introducing new features with Bing search designed for businesses. This will allow IT admins to have Bing index and search intranet files and corporate data.
With the next generation Edge together with Chromium, browsing will be a lot faster and easier with site compatibility is greatly insured. It will also be a lot more secure than ever with three levels of tracking prevention mechanism.

And lastly, the new Edge logo we saw earlier is now official. The new logo has a lot to cover with a depiction of waves which literally makes sense as we, internet users are constantly surfing the web to get data. The new logo also signifies Microsoft’s plans to capture the waves of innovation that the company is bringing to users.
