Microsoft set to launch the Surface Duo outside of the US next year
Many have thought (including myself, Sorry MS) that Microsoft’s Surface Duo will be Dead on Arrival at Launch but this has proved that we were wrong as the device has kept what it promised to do since it launched back in August.
Unlike the failed Windows Phones that Microsoft had marketed for several years, the new Surface Duo is all set to change the Android landscape showing how dual-screen implementation should be done on Android.
While the Surface Duo is only available in the US at the moment, 2021 will be different at Microsoft planned to expand the device availability to Canada, in the UK, France and Germany.
Apps are getting an enhanced version to work with the dual screen on the Surface Duo and one of them is TikTok in which Microsoft is closely working with ByteDance to optimized their app to work seamlessly with dual screen. This allows users to watch videos on one screen and check relevant hashtags, check the latest trends and profiles on the other.
