Microsoft claims that the Edge browser is way much better than their Internet Explorer (IE) before and even let go of IE’s codes and framework entirely in favor of Chromium (where Google Chrome is based) for the next generation browser. While these claims are essentially accurate what keeps users from adopting the new browser though has something to do with the Edge browser logo which for one is very similar to what IE had.
The Edge browser logo was introduced four years ago and while the browser itself is okay with support for the latest internet technologies and its support for web standards, the logo itself caused an impact to its userbase. But things are hopefully going to change for the better as Microsoft will make changes representing the Edge browser.

The new Microsoft Edge logo was discovered as part of a new surfing mini game hidden inside the latest Canary versions of Edge. The still represent the letter ‘e‘ but is a wave with fluent design similar to Microsoft’s modern logos for Office.
So what do you think of the new Edge logo? does it carry the stigma of old ? or will it finally make the Chromium-based browser more appealing to users both old and new?
