It’s been a while since the Mi Smart Band 6 was launched in market but the update for the fitness band adds one new nifty feature for the device with a flashlight function. Together with the new feature, Xiaomi also updates the language support for it too.
The new Flashlight functionality allows the band to work as a flashlight by tapping the flashlight option that then turns the display all brightly lit in white. This becomes handy when in dark areas where no other flashlight is available.
The said update for the Mi Smart Band 6 is version 1.0.4.38 and is currently rolling out in Kuwait, UK and Czechoslovakia with more regions to follow. Before you update your fitness band, be sure that your Mi Fit app on your smartphone where the fitness band is paired is also updated to version 5.3.0 or later.
