Mercedes-Benz next dashboard is a 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen
A huge block of multi-functional center console on EV might be the best thing you could come across today but sooner, things will be different not only as more and more car brands are investing into zero-emission technology, companies are also investing into this display that makes car dashboards decluttered.
Mercedes comes with a concept that uses a one giant display that will dominate everything upfront with a 56-inch MBUX Hyperscreen that will occupy the entire cabin with of its EQS Luxury EV. This Hyperscreen houses the car’s instrument cluster, infotainment system and passenger display.
The MBUX Hyperscreen uses an OLED display technology with an anti-reflective Gorilla Glass cover and adaptive brightness so as not to distract drivers while behind the wheel.
Mercedes also focuses on machine learning together with its 8-core CPU and 24GB of system RAM. With AI at its disposal, the system can actually suggests features as you need them, select one of your regular contacts as you drive and other things.
Unlike previous iteration of this system, the new MBUX Hyperscreen is aiming for a “Zero Layer” interface from which common tasks are always available and instrument clusters are always upfront including navigation system which have become a mainstay on todays cars.
