Meizu’s M2 Note teasers are up, home button revolution is on the way, unveiling this coming June 2
Speculations and excitement builds the hype for Meizu’s upcoming M2 Note. Earlier, leaks seems to confused readers, users and fans about what would be the official name of the upcoming handset some suggests that it’s going to be M1 Note 2, others are saying that it would be just Note 2 while more recently an M2 Note. As it turns out and with recent GFBench entry revealed that it would be the latter and that Meizu confirms the said device name with an official teaser image from their Facebook page (shown above).
Besides the official name of the handset, GFBench also revealed some facts about the M2 Note and that is none other than its specs. As the listing revealed, the M2 Note sits on the mid-ranger arena which features a 5.6-inch FullHD display and comes with an 8-core processor from MediaTek on an MT6753 chipset coupled with 2 GB of RAM. 32 GB internal storage is also available on board and runs on the latest Flyme OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and a much faster LTE connectivity. There’s also a 12 Megapixel camera on board with a notable 4K video recording capabilities, on the front is a full force of 5 Megapixel camera that’s going to take care of the selfies and high-resolution video calls.
As we’ve known so far from earlier leaks, the M2 Note will virtually look the same as its predecessor with some minor changes. One of which is the placement of the power button which now sits besides the volume rocker. Additionally, the M2 Note will also feature a new home button that will set itself apart from last year’s model. The latter info was also confirmed by Meizu India with their prop image showing a revolution of the home button.
Though at the moment. we really don’t know what Meizu got in store for us regarding the said home button but most analysts and experts believes that Meizu will be incorporating a fingerprint scanner in the M2 Note’s home button. Though everything else were just speculations and point of view of our experts, nothing really is certain until June 2 as Meizu peg the date to officially unveil the handset. The unveil event will set place in Beijing and that’s just two days away from now.
