Meizu, one of the first smartphone manufacturer in China will soon open their first physical stores in the Philippines along with official warranty support for devices officially announced in the country. For years since the company started producing phones and building their brand name, Filipinos are enticed with their offering as commonly as an alternative to what was then more popular the Apple iPhone. Over the years, other smartphone manufacturers have raised to fame and have already made their mark in the country but for Meizu, Novo7tech was then bridging the gap between Filipino customers and Meizu’s offering.

And that’ll soon change as it will open its doors for the Philippine smartphone market. So tostart off with,Meizu will introduce its latest devices that are still and somewhat overpriced and even scarce in the black market. Unlike the top dogs, Meizu’s devices are often affordable even with their flagship devices that cost just right for regular customers to land their hands. Filipino’s could expect a fairly priced handsets with top of the line specs and just as durable as other high-end devices from other manufacturers.

After their initial announcements of devices in which it includes the Meizu Pro 6, MX6, M3E, M3 Note and the M3S that are all coming officially in the Philippines, Meizu Philippines now announced their official price tags in their official Facebook page.

Starting off with high performing device, Meizu introduces the new Meizu Pro 6 and it’s their current top of the line premium handset. It comes with a rather small yet standard display at 5.2 inch diagonally of AMOLED screen and features full HD resolutions and 3D Press or force touch.

With premium quality build, the new Pro 6 equally provides enough powerhouse beneath its skin. The handset is powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio X25 with Deca-core processors, it then pairs with a Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The handset will ship with either 32GB or 64GB of built-in storage but unfortunately if you are looking for a way to expand what’s already there to store your stuff then you’re out of luck as Meizu don’t allow you to do that here.

The MX6 is the company’s 6th generation of the MX line and like the Pro 6, it is also Meizu flagship bearer. As you can see from their outlook, both the MX6 and the Pro 6 almost look identical if not for their LED flash.

The MX6 is powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 SoC, still a deca-core processor equipped chipset but it’s a least beefed up version of the latest Helio X25, though the latter looks good on paper but in a real world scenario they perform almost exactly the same. It also include a Mali-T880 MP4 GPU paired to either 3GB/4GB of RAM and the storage pegs at 32GB and is non-expandable as well. The handset comes with a larger 5.5-inch screen with full-HD resolution and feature In-Cell display.

Among the three M3 variants, we could say that this M3E is the most premium among them. Premium in a sense that its build with elegant design and the choice of color combination seems to suggests more executive and premium that others in its class. It comes with the same 5.5-inch display found on the M3 Note. It’s powered the a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage space. Unlike the first three we’ve mentioned, both of them came with two flavors, but on the M3E, Meizu opted to stick only with 3GB of RAM.

It has the same 13 Megapixel camera on the back with PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. On the front there’s also a standard 5 Megapixel camera which handles your Selfies and take video calls. It supports 4G/LTE on dual-SIM slots and a range of standard connectivity features.

The Meizu M3E however has a 3100 mAh embedded battery and runs on an outdated Android 5.0 Lollipop but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing but if you’re coming from or have used other devices that runs on Marshmallow, the Flyme OS equipped Android 5.1 OS still plays pretty well.
