Man planning an assault to Pokemon Go player arrested by the police

The smash hit and phenomenal mobile game Pokemon Go has create a new hysteria to drives people go crazy for collecting Pokemon in different places with mobile phones but using real world environment as players hunting grounds with some in obscured and remote places. The game has taken the internet by storm and mobile carrier networks to a bottleneck as more and more players came to join the action.

But not all are impressed with the craze, some find it annoying like Nathan Cerda who took his hate on social media that warned players within his local community of a possible violence. Nathan Cerda was planning purge anyone attending the event or just any player that he’ll see walking around searching for Pokemon. Mr. Cerda explicitly indicated that he’s going to use a modified paintball gun to inflict pain or damage to people catching Pokemon.

Warning……All u Pokemon Go people tomorrow me and some friends are taking out our modified paintball guns and we gonna Purge. And I know you stupid people are walking all over the place looking at the phone trying to find these Pokemon. Tomorrow we are going to be everywhere so be aware of your surroundings.

Upon learning Mr. Cerda’s post, Harlingen Police Department made an investigation on the matter and promptly issued a warrant of arrest charging him with terroristic threat.A joint operation between the Hidalgo County Sheriffs Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety, McAllen Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service, they’ve located Nathan Cerda and prevented the planned assault before it could commence.

Prior to this, Mr. Cerda was also arrested for sexual assault on a 14 year old girl. Under Harlingen Police Department custody, Mr. Cerda is awaiting trial for the charges against him. With him under police watch, Pokemon players in his county can safely roam around the community with nothing to worry about of what could have been a chaotic turn of events.
