Good news is, LG announced the new LG U handsets that’s not just affordable but also a noteworthy piece of machinery for anyone’s smartphone needs. It’s got a well established list of specs that’s apparently the high-end standard a couple of years ago which now becomes a basic laid-out specs for most lower-end devices but still could keep up with today’s power needs.

The LG U comes with a 5.2-inch display and a full-HD resolution that’s 1080p and is powered by a octa-core processor running at 1.14GHz, there’s a basic 2GB of RAM but the storage will hand you 32GB of space with microSD card support just in case one would want to put more contents on the device.

Despite the seemingly basic power specs, the handset should be enough on some other things, take one for imaging, it’s got a 13 Megapixel main camera onboard while an 8 Megapixel Selfie camera sits on the front which offers a wealthy amount of imaging features including auto-correction “Beauty Shot” and “Auto Selpi” offered exclusively by LG to keep those shoots at its best making it worth keeping.

The handset measures 147.6 73.2 7.7mm and only weighs 135 grams with its large 3000 mAh battery. The handset runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box with LG’s own set of customization on top.

The LG U will sell in South Korea for about KRW 396,000 that’s roughly around $345 in US Dollars. It will be available in colors : white, black, and pink and will go on sale shortly. While LG haven’t suggested an international released of the product, customers may still hope to get their hands on the product as LG has the tendency to launched their devices silently on other markets without the media noticing it.
