Lenovo officially Launched the A7000 Plus with full-HD display and 13 Megapixel camera, available starting September 15
Back in April, Lenovo launched the A7000 smartphone which features a large 5.5-inch 720p display. The phablet as we call it is a budget-centric smartphone designed to bring smartphone devices to entry-level market.
Now four months later, Lenovo update the A7000 series handset with the new A7000 Plus, a significantly bumped up specs handset will the same affordability formula as the first. Many of which about the handset was carried over to the latest incarnation including its design, display size and shell. but what’s more significant is what’s found under the chassis.
The new A7000 Plus carries the same 5.5-inch IPS Display but this time, the resolution has been up a bit to a full HD 1080p. From the 8 Megapixel of the A7000, the new Plus variant upgraded the imaging features of the smartphone with a new 13 Megapixel sensor main camera while the front shooter remains unchanged. Processing power may still be on the same variant of the chipset with a MediaTek MTK MT6752 but this time, the processor does have a higher clock speed at 1.7 GHz compared to the A7000’s 1.5GHz. Other features that was carried from the last quarter’s model are the 2 GB of RAM, Dolby ATMOS surround sound, Dual-SIM and the standard connectivity features including LTE support and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop on a 2900 mAh battery.

The new Lenovo A7000 Plus will be available in the Philippines on the 15th of this month and will bear a price of 7,999 Php or around $178. At the launch, the handset will be available initially through online store Lazada with free screen protector and a back cover.
