Kuratas mech suit unit 001 goes on sale in Amazon Japan for $1 Million

If you’ve been to my old site before (now relaunched with a different content), there’s one time that we didn’t follow the development of the Kuratas, a 13-foot tall mech suit driving by diesel engine where it could go on a top speed of 10 km per hour. It was in 2012 when we first heard about suidobashi heavy industry’s introduction of Kuratas Prototype 001, since then, we though everything was just a project of some sort until we’ve heard one of this mechas posted on sale at Amazon Japan.

For anime fans alike, the Kuratas fits perfectly to mech anime lovers and fans but get ready to shell out some serious amount of cash as the real life mech isn’t your of the shelf stuff. For $1 Million, the lucky buyer will take home the Kuratas from Amazon and get ready to assemble the heavy equipment yourself. But if you got the cash, then you’ll have to get past the competition if there’s any as the company behind the mech is selling one unit only that is if they are really selling one anyway. But hope seems to point out that it is really and all you need to do is to shell out the money to close the deal.

As for this unit on sale, don’t expect to see the beloved smile-activated BB gutling gun from the demo video that we’re about to show below this post, and don’t expect any type of weapon to come along with it. For its price, all you get is the motorized mechanical single vehicle itself and the fame you’re about to receive when you own one.

If you’re determine to get it yourself, head over to the source below to get into the order page on Amazon Japan.
