As gadgets from PC’s, music and video players, cameras, mobile phones or just any devices requiring storage becomes more sophisticated and complex, so does our need to harness its potentials and ultimately our desire for more means to store information or any multimedia contents to our devices. Kingston, the brand known for being the top supplier of memory cards and SSD’s has been working hard to create new memory cards with large storage space with its HC and SDXC line.
Kingston has introduced two new cards with UHS-1 specs with larger memory capacities. These cards are capable of high-speed data transfers with 90MB/s read speeds and 45MB/s write speeds, though these memory access speed still depends on the device that supports it. For memory capacities, Kingston’s micro-SD cards have reach the 128 GB mark while its SD cards now has gone up to 256 GB capacities.
Though the company has officially announced these memory cards, Kingston is yet to unveil its pricing and availability but when available, these memory cards will always come with lifetime warranties and support.
