Huawei’s new MateBook D 15 and MateBook D 14 Windows 10 laptops are now official
Together with the launch of the new MatePad Pro, Huawei also extended their Windows-based laptop portfolio with two new MateBook D series laptops: MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15.
The new MateBook D 14 is a compact 14-inch laptop in a 15.9mm thick body, it weighs around 1.38kg and supports up to 180-degree hinge rotation for the screen. The MateBook D 15 on the other hand is a 15.6-inch laptop and is only 16.9mm thick and only weighs 1.9kg.
Both of these devices comes with a fingerprint sensor integrated power button and includes the following ports: 1x USB-C 3.1, 2x USB-A 2.0, 1x USB-A 3.0, 1x HDMI, and a headphone jack.
These laptops will be powered by either an Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7 with an an NVIDIA MX250 GPU’s, 8GB/16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage.
Besides that, Huawei is also making these new laptops available with AMD Ryzen R5 3500U CPU with Vega 8 GPU on-board.
Like we’ve mentioned earlier, these two new devices all ships with Window 10 pre-installed.
As for the battery life, the MateBook D 14 gets a 56Wh battery while the MateBook D 15 runs on 45Wh battery. Huawei promises up to 13 hours of battery life in a single charge.
The new MateBook D 14 and MateBook D 15 up for pre-order in China and will be available by December 3 in either Black or Gray color options. Price starts at just CNY 3,999, that’s with the Ryzen 5 on it.
