Huawei already has a selection of smartwatches and it got a fitness band too and it just keep on innovating. The company announced a new series in its smartwatch devices with the new Huawei Watch Fit which combines the functionality of a fitness band with the power, extensive features and form-factor of a smartwatch.
What’s even more welcoming about the new device is the price which only retails at Php 4,999, making it one of the cheapest smartwatch in the company’s lineup.
Basically it’s a smartwatch with a different body than any other smartwatch available in its offering at the moment and with that, you’ll get a large and bright 1.64-inch AMOLED display with a rectangular portrait-oriented form factor.
It’s got a ton of customizations options for users with an interchangeable watch faces that are built-in and also an option to download from the Watch Face Store and can even customize watch faces with your own photos from your paired mobile device.
Like most smartwatches, the new Huawei Watch Fit also includes tools and apps to work on your daily activities and lifestyle. Get the latest weather info with the Weather app straight from the watch, monitor your health with the heart rate sensor and follow your progress on your daily fitness activities.
Unlike other Huawei Watch devices, the Huawei Watch Fit is a lot lighter but don’t be fooled by its weight as it packs an upgraded battery performance that promises up to 10 days of normal use. It also supports quick charge technology which allows a 5 minute charge for the watch to work for one whole day.
While the Huawei Watch Fit is more affordable it comes with the same software and hardware functionalities as the Watch GT series. It comes with a real-time tracking and workout metrics with 11 professional sport modes and includes a GPS module which a hard to come by feature on smartwatches at this price.
It uses TruSeen 4.0 heart monitoring technology that tracks your heart rate constantly and keeps track of your sleep including how long and how well you were sleeping. It also got an Oxygen Saturation Detection capability, a nifty little feature that makes a lot of sense during this pandemic.
The new Huawei Watch Fit is available in Sakura Pink, Mint Green, Cantaloupe Orange, and Graphite Black and as we’ve mentioned, it’s priced at Php 4,999. The new smartwatch will be available for pre-order starting the 18th of September and up to the 22nd with a Huawei Band 4e and a Nova Speaker as freebies worth 2,380.
