Huawei announces the new budget friendly “Honor Tablet” with phone functionality

Huawei launched its latest tablet device the Huawei Honor Tablet in Malaysia. The new tablet features an 8-inch wide-angle display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and a full mobile phone functionality. It also boost a 3.75G wireless network connectivity for high-speed browsing.

The Huawei Honor tablet comes a metal frame adorned by an 8-inch IPS display. The back is a smooth aluminum plate taking credits by its slim and lightweight design. It comes with a 5 Megapixel main camera and a standard VGA from cam.

Its internal boosts performance and reliability and it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor running at 1.2 GHz, coupled with 1 GB of RAM for seamless user experience. It also comes built-in with 16 GB of internal storage and a microSD slot which takes up to 32 GB of microSD cards.

Even at a fair low price, Huawei still offers the Honor tablet with a wide range of connectivity features that would justify its existence. It features a full telephony operation which simply means that users can do everything they can with a standard mobile phone on a 3.75G and HSPA+ wireless networks. In addition to that, Huawei also includes a number of options to connect and communicate that includes: Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with GPS Assist.

The new tablet, despite its thin design at 7.9mm thick and weighs under 360 grams managed to cramped-up a large 4800 mAh battery which is theoretical believed to last up to 13 Hours of usage in a single charge. It will come with Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) on-board with Huawei’s Emotion UI 1.6

The Huawei Honor tablet is currently up for pre-order in Malaysia for RM 599 or $184.00 or roughly 8,300 in the Philippines. Though we’ve not yet heard any information for its international availability, but it will definitely come to our shores after it goes on sale officially.
