This is the new One E9+ from HTC which the company silently launch online though its website. The handset haven’t been mentioned a lot from the manufacturer’s camp but it seems that the handset will be marketed around the mid-end market which should probably just below the line where the One M9 stands.

Despite HTC’s silence, the One E9+ has been around the rumor mill for sometime and despite rumors and speculations, the specs listed on HTC’s website seems to contradicts earlier presumption about the handset or it’s probably that the specs placed there was meant for the lesser One E9 with a noticeable lesser camera sensor on the back.

As confusions gets in the way, we feel that we have to dig a little further to get accurate data and indeed the specs from the product specifications page seem to point to the One E9 instead of the One E9+. Getting on the specs means a little more understanding is needed to understand both variants. The One E9 and the One E9+ will both have a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolutions and 2K resolutions respectively. The latter marks HTC’s deliverance of high-resolution display on its devices making the first HTC handset to incorporate such high-resolution display. With both offers both cameras to front and back, the E9+ will be having a 20 Megapixel camera on the back and 2 Megapixel UltraPixel on the front while the One E9 on the other hand will feature a lesser camera sensor on the back with 13 Megapixel and the same UltraPixel sensor on the front like the One E9+.

For the rest of the specs, we are seeing here a Quad-Core 64-bit MediaTek chipset running at 2 GHz, 2GB RAM for the E9 and 3 GB RAM for the E9+, 16 GB of internal storage with microSD card support of up to 128 GB. Dual Nano SIM’s, LTE wireless connectivity, High-speed Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.1. It also comes equipped with the signature front firing BoomSound stereo speaker setup and 2800 mAh battery with the latest Android operating system topped with HTC Sense UI.

Though HTC already had the device unveiled online, we’re still wondering as to when the device launches and on which region does the HTC One E9 and One E9+ becomes available.

Most of the images on HTC’s website at the moment is from the One E9+ but thanks to popular tipster and leaker @upleaks, we’ve got a seemingly official press render of the HTC One E9 with the noticeable smaller camera on the back.
