Honor Set to Launch Magic V5 Foldable on July 2 in China, Design Leaks Ahead of Event
Honor prepares to launch the Magic V5 foldable in China this coming July 2 and leaks of its design came in before the sHonor is gearing up to launch its Magic V5 foldable smartphone in China on July 2, and leaks revealing its design have surfaced ahead of the official event.
As early rumors suggested, the upcoming flagship features a thinner profile. According to Honor, the Magic V5 will measure just 8.8mm when folded, making it the thinnest foldable device to date—surpassing the Oppo Find N5 by a few micrometers.


Interestingly, instead of third-party sources leaking these images, Honor took the initiative to release official press photos showcasing the updated design. One of the device variants appears in a gold color with a textured back and hinge.


As a flagship model, the Magic V5 will feature a prominent rear camera island. Observers speculate that it includes a triple-camera setup, possibly with a 200MP sensor housed behind a periscope lens.
Honor has yet to reveal full specifications, but the latest rumors suggest the Magic V5 will include a 6.45-inch cover display and an 8-inch internal screen. It’s also expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading version and a sizable 6,100mAh battery.
