HMD Global to revive the Nokia 3310 with fairly the same design but slimmer and lighter

The iconic Nokia 3310 will be having a revival as HMD Global, the owner of the Nokia brand is set to resurrect the handset with today’s standards. Though not the smartphone standards that you might have hoped for but still a feature phone with today’s key feature phone specs and that includes a colored display and perhaps a camera built-in.

While there were numerous concept designs available on the internet that depicts what the Nokia 3310 might look light for 2017, most of those renders are radical in design and might be contrary to what might the handset will look light when HMD will formally announced the handset next week. There’s a hint directly from HMD though, the upcoming Nokia 3310 will have the same basic design as the original along with a completely physical keypad with that is slightly redesigned. In will also include a larger colored display but is slimmer and lighter than the original Nokia 3310’s body.

What’s highly anticipated about the 2017 Nokia 3310 is all about its battery and durability, as of the moment, there were no words as to what battery capacity will the handset have and will it be removable, and will it lived to the legacy on what the original Nokia 3310 has when it comes to its durability and toughness. More about the Nokia 3310 and other anticipated Nokia handsets to be unveiled next week at Nokia’s special event at MWC 2017.
